Position Description: Data Modeler

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler to enhance our capabilities at several levels of skill. The successful candidate will be able to analyze and understand business requirements, turn them into data requirements then into data models from which data standards are documented in support of the next generation of software. Also this candidate requires the confidence and know-how necessary to work with a team of experienced modelers, DBAs, and software developers.

You will be asked to help others understand the principles of data modeling through casual and formal training.

Minimum Requirements For This Position:

Bachelor's degree in physical sciences
2 years' experience in Data Modeling
Experienced in one or more of these methods: object, relational, software; and one or more of these notations: UML, IDEF1X; and one or more of these tools: Popkin SA, Rational Rose, ERwin, SmartER.
IDEF0 modeling experience is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication
An active DoD Security Clearance is a requirement and individual will be subject to a background investigation. Depending on ones specific skills, it is possible for an individual without an active DoD security clearance to be sponsored for a clearance.

Note: Minimum requirements for a security clearance include:

United States Citizen: you and your immediate family members
Clean record with regards to: bankruptcy, drug use, and felony convictions
Willingness to submit to background investigation
