Position Description: Test Engineers

Analyzes documented user requirements to determine test requirements from which the test plan can be developed for software and IT systems.
Defines, designs, and documents unit and application test plans; automates the test plans via test scripts and executes the test script.
May participate in the life cycle of risk management and software/hardware development.
Responsible for process control during the execution of test scripts, documentation of results, tracking the elimination of defects identified by test script.
Analyzes test results, documents conclusions, makes product and processes change recommendations based on analysis.
Testing expert who ensures user requirements are specified, tests are developed that determine conformance to requirements, and that these specifications have been met.
Directs and participates in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development and production with emphasis of meeting customer requirements.
Ensures managers are fully informed of the quality status of the product.
Ensures that tests meet customer requirements for cycle time, cost, and standards compliance.
Performs Quality Control on test results to ensure precision, accuracy, and validity.

Minimum Requirements For This Position:

Multiple levels starting with people who have:

Bachelor's Degree or higher and 5 years
High School/GED and 9 years
Associate and 7 years
Master and 3 years
Doctorate and 1 year
