Systems Administrator: UNIX

Analyzes business requirements and design specifications to develop functional activity specifications.
Identifies problems and their root cause for existing systems and
Provides solutions that eliminate the root causes thus the problems.
Performs preventive action analysis of new systems to remove root causes and prevent problems.
Contributes to design, development and implementation of next generation systems.
Responsible for understanding customer requirements and commercially available IT products so that COTS products are leveraged in development of the technical architecture.
Must have experience as system engineer in one or more IT platforms.
Must have a solid IT systems background with skills in areas such as: telecommunication concepts, computer languages, operating systems, database, and middleware. NSA/CSS experience exceeding six years.

Multiple levels from people with:

Master's Degree or higher and 6 years
High School/GED and 12 years
Associate and 10 years
Bachelor and 8 years
Doctorate and 4 years
An active DoD Security Clearance is a requirement and individual will be subject to a background investigation.
